Lodge Farm, Hollington, Derbyshire, view to north HART provided an assessment of Lodge Farm, for the East Midlands Team. The work showed that this seemingly unprepossessing grade II listed farmhouse contained elements of a fifteenth-century timber-framed building, as well as details such as lime ash floors, surviving thatch, and in situ wattle and daub panels. Arguments about the archaeological integrity of the building and the importance of its context were accepted by the Inspector who recommended the refusal of listed building consent to demolish the building.
