Priorities for archaeological research on human remains in East Anglia are suggested in the light of the present state of work and the potential of remains from the area.

Forty-seven Medieval skeletons from Gisborough Priory, Cleveland area were examined. Unlike many religious sites there were similar numbers of male and female adults. However, as is usual from such sites there were few child skeletons.
